A JOURNEY FROM DESOLATION TO RESTORATION
9-WEEK BIBLE STUDY FOR WOMEN
WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ABUSE

She remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house... 2 Sam 13:20

What comes of those of us who have been victimized by abuse? Recluse living? Bouts with depression and overarching fear? Deeply rooted bitterness and anger toward God and others? A controlling demeanor or an out-of-control lifestyle? How does it affect our relationship with God? How does it affect our relationships with others?

For many of us, the impact continues long after the abuse. The Ashes of Tamar symbolizes the residue of a painful past encompassing shame, guilt, depression, rejection, fear, and forgiveness due to abuse. The accumulation of these ashes is detrimental to women who desire to live an abundant life—fearlessly.

This study is designed for women who find themselves in a desolate place, buried deeply in the ashes of their yesterday. Is that you? If so, regardless of how you arrived in your desolate place, whether through domestic violence or a series of unfortunate events, The Ashes of Tamar will reveal the Ember of Hope that flickers brilliantly down your path toward restoration.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.  -Proverbs 31:8 New Living Translation

MY STORY

Tneal_Photo.png

I am deeply passionate about bringing the stories of women in the Bible to life - especially those that are not often told. I believe that these stories are not only empowering but also offer valuable lessons that we can learn from. The stories of these remarkable women are not too different from ours, and I believe that by sharing them, we can be inspired to live more authentically and with greater purpose. Through my work, I strive to continue to tap into the hearts of women and help them understand how deeply they are loved by God.

In addition to writing, I find great joy in creative expression through graphic design.  I am the owner of Solutions by Tonya Neal, LLC a visual communication and consulting business in Texas.  I am working on the official launch of Fragile Hearts Ministries, LLC.
